WE ARE HERE to...
From podcasts to events, from talks to training, storytelling is the heart of what we do, underpinned by our five values:
(he/him)
Co-director & Co-founder
Adam is a writer, producer and storyteller drawn to the hidden corners of history. He’s worked on all our podcast series, plus The Film We Can’t See (BBC) and Press Play, Turn On (Audible), which was named Podcast of the Year at the British Podcast Awards 2024. Adam works across the culture and media industries, as a speaker, facilitator, consultant, and has volunteered for various community groups. He loves theatre, reading, and dark raves.
(they/she)
Co-director & Co-founder
Tash is a writer, poet, audio producer, and community organiser who believes in the power of listening as activism. They have worked on all our podcast series and have over a decade of experience in the charity sector, including Switchboard – the LGBT+ Helpline. They are Co-founder of Get In Her Ears, a platform championing women, LGBTQ+ and non-binary people in music. Tash brings poetic rhythm, community, and joy to every Aunt Nell creation.
We care for stories and the communities that hold them. These four approaches are how we do it:
Human stories deserve to be heard. We create space to listen to what the world tried to silence.
We make work that takes time. Through deep listening and collaboration, we create stories that hold people — and last.
We work across time to honour voices excluded from history — and shape stories that reimagine the future.
Our existence is a resistance. We create work in defiance of a world that wants speed, silence, and sameness.
